Congratulations to Paulina Ceballos Velasco, Peach County High School Junior. She was accepted into the 2023-24 All-State Art Symposium with her mixed piece "Lemons". This year, the panel of esteemed judges acknowledged 50 art pieces. On Friday, March 1st, she will attend the All-State Art Symposium, and then on Saturday, March 2nd, she will participate in the Art Throwdown. Both events will include an awards ceremony and workshops hosted by the Columbus State University Department of Art.
The annual All-State Art Symposium promotes and recognizes the creative talents of high school students from Georgia's school districts. The symposium's workshops, juried exhibitions, and other events provide high school students with cultural opportunities, develop advanced studio skills, and cultivate aesthetic appreciation while recognizing excellence in high school art education. Through dynamic symposiums, students, parents, and teachers celebrate creativity and the symbiotic relationship between art and society.
