Picture of Mr.  Joseph Hinson

Mr. Joey Hinson is a 1997 graduate of Eufaula (AL) High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Education from Troy State University in 2001. In 2008, he earned his Master of Education in Quality Schools from Graceland University and an Educational Specialist in Educational Leadership from Valdosta State University in 2017. Mr. Hinson has 23 years of experience in education teaching in academic, physical education, and CTAE settings. The last nine years he served as an assistant principal of instruction at Feagin Mill Middle School. In 2018, Mr. Hinson was named a recipient of the Hal Beaver Georgia Outstanding Assistant Principal award by the Georgia Association of Middle School Principals. 

Mr. Hinson has spent the entirety of his career investing in students both inside and outside of the classroom serving as an athletic coach for 15 years in football, basketball, baseball, softball, track, and soccer. 

Mr. Hinson is married to his wife Lacey and they have one child, Grady, who will be in 5th grade this year.
