Accountability and Assessment
Welcome! The Assessment and Accountability department serves and supports all schools and district personnel in the training, administration and data reporting of standardized assessments as
well as serves as the district point of contact for the state’s accountability system known as The College and Career Performance Index (CCRPI).
The state College and Career Performance Index (CCRPI) is a comprehensive school improvement, accountability, and communication platform for all educational stakeholders that will promote college and career readiness for all Georgia public school students.
The Peach County School District utilizes various forms of data to make informed instructional decisions for all students at the classroom, school and district levels. The district continuously analyzes graduation, achievement, demographic, enrollment, behavior and attendance data. The district also analyzes the achievement and progress levels of learners to help address instructional needs, measure learner progress throughout the year and to inform decisions regarding the academic focus of the district.
The Georgia Milestone Assessment System (GMAS) is administered in third through twelfth grades at the end of each grade/course as the district's state mandated summative assessment. The GMAS is designed to provide information on how well learners are mastering the state-adopted content standards in the core content areas of English language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. Importantly, GMAS is designed to provide learners with critical information about their own achievement and their readiness for their next level of learning – be it the next grade, the next course, or the next endeavor (college or career).
