Dr. Walker is a native of Roberta, Georgia. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from Fort Valley State University, a Master’s Degree in Mathematics from Georgia Southwestern State University, an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Troy State University, and a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership from Argosy University.
Dr. Walker has 22 years of service in a leadership capacity. He has also served as a math teacher, football coach, basketball coach, and track coach.
Dr. Walker is married to Dr. Carita Walker, also an educator. They have two daughters, Mercedes and Brittany. Both daughters are educators. The Walkers have two energetic grandsons, Nolan and Mason, who are five and seven years old.
