Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is the nonprofit, applied research organization of the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). GTRI leverages its science and engineering expertise, in collaboration with Georgia Tech, to enhance the impact of their collective research output. They advance technology and provide innovative solutions to:
- Enhance State of Georgia economic development
- Serve National Security
- Improve the human condition
- Educate future technology leader

This means that PCHS has access to professional development for teachers, students are able to interact with educators at Georgia Tech on a number of topics, and have the up-to-date date information from Georgia Tech like scholarship information and visitation for students.

The topics range from programming to robotics, AI to cybersecurity and data analysis. This is a rural initiative that was started by Governor Brian Kemp through Computer Science classes in every school in Georgia.
