Kay Road Elementary School Science Olympiad Shines in First Competition!
Saturday, the KRES Science Olympiad team proudly represented Peach County as the only Science Olympiad team in the county! Competing at Perry High School against 13 other Middle Georgia schools, our students did an incredible job in their first-ever competition!

Peach County Schools 2025-26 Pre-K Registration is Now Open!
Registration for Peach County Pre-K will begin, Monday, February 24, 2025 and will end Friday, March 28, 2025.
There are 38 slots available at Byron Elementary. There are 20 slots available at Hunt Elementary School and 20 slots available at Kay Road Elementary School.
The slots will be filled using a lottery process. Completion of the registration process by March 28, 2025 does not guarantee your child a slot in a Pre-K class, but does guarantee that your child’s name will be entered in the lottery for a chance to earn a slot.
Parents will be notified by Friday, April 25, 2025.

After careful consideration and consultation with Peach County Emergency Management and other relevant agencies, all Peach County Schools will be closed for students and staff on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, due to anticipated winter weather.
Additionally, all after-school extracurricular activities scheduled for Tuesday, January 21, 2025, are canceled.
We will continue to monitor conditions for Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

The Peach County High School 11th grade EMPOWER Leadership Group sponsored by Flint Energies selected the project "Warm Reading" as their December service project. Students in three classes at Hunt Elementary School (Ms. Lowder-Haynes, Ms. Anderson and Ms. Patterson) received a book, a pair of gloves or socks, and a hat.

The Peach County Board of Education recognized the Peach County High School and Byron Middle School Robot Drone League(RDL) at the January 7, 2025 regular board meeting.
Peach County High School had the honor of hosting the first Robot Drone League (RDL) competition organized by Streamworks. Peach County High teamed up with Byron Middle to form Peach Robotics, and we are thrilled to share they brought home several accolades: the Rookie award, the Top Score award, and the Champions award!
Even more exciting, Peach Robotics has qualified to attend the National Competition, which will take place at East Tennessee State University at the end of January. This is a remarkable achievement that showcases the hard work and dedication of our students.
