At today’s Peach County Board of Education meeting, our board members unanimously approved Superintendent Brown’s recommendation for Dr. Angela Hambrick to serve as Peach County High School’s next Principal.
Dr. Angela Hambrick is a Georgia Southwestern University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. After attending Georgia Southwestern, Dr. Hambrick earned a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education, a Specialist’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont, and her Doctorate from Kennesaw State University in Teacher Leadership.
Dr. Hambrick began her classroom teaching experience as a business education teacher at Crossroads in Houston County, GA. She was selected Teacher of the Year during the 2011-2012 and 2013-2014 school years. The 2023-2024 school year will be her 5th year in administration.
Dr. Hambrick is married to Mitch Hambrick and a proud mom of two daughters, Hayley and Abby. She is excited to support staff and all stakeholders at PCHS. As the principal of PCHS, she will continue to put students first, supporting their academic and social growth. Dr. Hambrick looks forward to supporting the district’s vision and mission.
